This product was jointly developed by a manufacturer that has dedicated over 40 years to “hair chemistry” in Japan and “Hair Dresser TiCA,” a salon specializing in hair care for mature adults.
Stylists who deal with a wide variety of hair types and concerns on a daily basis carefully selected the ingredients needed by middle-aged and older adults, and the manufacturer used the power of chemistry to bring that vision to life—resulting in the creation of this salon-exclusive, limited-quantity shampoo and treatment set.

How to Use
After wetting your hair thoroughly, rinse away any dirt from your scalp with warm water. Take an appropriate amount into your hands, work it into a rich lather, and work it through your hair. Gently wash your scalp by massaging it with the pads of your fingers. Then, rinse thoroughly.

How to Use

After shampooing, gently towel-dry your hair, then apply an appropriate amount from the mid-lengths to the ends, working it in with a massaging motion. To ensure even distribution, comb through with a wide-toothed comb, leave it on for about 3 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly until your hair feels smooth.

Hydrolyzed Keratin
Since it’s made from the same components as hair, it blends naturally with your hair and effectively targets damaged areas. It helps restore volume and bounce to your hair.
Hydrolyzed Wool Cuticle Protein
A component similar to hydrolyzed keratin. It helps protect the cuticle and adds body and strength to the hair.
Ceramide NG (a type of human-type ceramide)
It has excellent emollient properties and helps restore suppleness to color-treated hair and severely damaged hair that tends to become dry and brittle.

A Message from the Developer
From the Perspective of Hair Chemistry
We’ve carefully selected ingredients to help restore bounce and strength to weakened hair, including hydrolyzed keratin and hydrolyzed proteins. We’ve also included wool cuticle protein to moisturize the hair, along with ceramide NG and 12 types of amino acids. By prioritizing ingredients common to both the shampoo and conditioner, we’ve ensured that you’ll notice the benefits the more you use them.
In the shampoo, we focused on anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients that promote a healthy scalp environment; lymph care ingredients that balance the scalp, promote hair growth, and lead to thicker, stronger hair; and silk-derived cleansing agents that repair hair while producing a smooth lather.
The conditioner is formulated with “Plex” ingredients that strengthen internal hair bonds to provide moisture and flexibility, rich emollient oils that smooth the cuticle, and heat-activated ingredients that impart a lustrous shine to the hair.

I created NöCTiVA to “cherish each person’s ‘present moment.’” It was born from my years of experience as a hairstylist, during which I’ve encountered a wide variety of hair types and lifestyles—and have experienced change myself.
Formulas and scents that gently envelop hair and hearts that waver with age. And moments that guide your day in a positive direction, putting you in a “good mood.”
While addressing the hair concerns that change with age,
I sought out scents and textures that gently soothe even the soul.

I loved how the shampoo felt light and smooth, lathered well, and had a light texture.
It lathered well but rinsed out easily, too. After rinsing, my scalp felt refreshed without feeling like any excess oil had been stripped away. It seems to work well whether you wash once or twice. The conditioner wasn’t heavy, yet it moisturized my hair quickly and left it feeling coated. After drying, my hair was tangle-free and easy to manage! It might even have a bit of a fluffy, voluminous feel. My scalp tends to get oily, but NöCTiVA doesn’t cause that, and the more I use it, the more my hair seems to gain shine. I rely on it so much that I get anxious when my supply runs out.

The name NöCTiVA is derived from
“Nocturne,” which evokes the poetic atmosphere of the night,
“Captivate,” which means to draw people in,
and “Vita” (Latin), meaning “life.”
This name is derived from these three words.
For middle-aged women, if life were likened to a 24-hour day, they are currently in the period from 3:00 p.m. through the evening.
